Spent some time over the weekend modifying some springs and brackets to get the headlights installed again on the driver side. I thought about replacing the chrome trim pieces attached to the rear C-pillars but decided against standing on my head in the trunk just to take them off again when the car is painted!
On another note the car runs amazingly well now and I filled the tank for the first time and on the way home the odometer passed into the 80,000 mile mark 
Nice car! One suggestion though. You may want to consider doing a relay upgrade to the headlight system. This will get you brighter headlights and you can use later halogens and not overload the factory headlight switch.
Done numerous ones, including my 65 and 70 Mustangs and my sons 67 Chevelle.
