Hello everyone, I know there have not been enough updates on this page for the past month or longer. This is largely due to some life changes some of which include starting a new job at a global organization, moving out of my parents house, and getting engaged.
The new job is going very well, I am continually learning and being challenged each and everyday. I am finally getting to the point where I do not have a continuous list of questions to ask the fellow coworkers and I am sure that as time passes there will be even less. It is nice to finally be using more of my education in my daily adventures at work.
On October 25th Richelle and I celebrated two years dating together by volunteering for Angel food distribution, went to dinner and spent some time at my parents house and when we came home we found that our kitty tiggerwasn’t feeling good and he wasn’t able to go to the bathroom. So 1130 at night we took him to the emergency vet and we were faced with another unplanned bill. We however feel it was necessary and well worth the money spent to have a happy healthy kitty again.
In lesser news Richelle had a check engine light come on for the second time in less than two months on her 2001 Hyandui Elantra. (last time they relpaced the o2 sensor and transmission range sensor). This time we ran a bottle of the fuel system cleaner as well as replacing the gas gap. After putting the new gas cap on we drove the car for 5 minutes and when I restarted it the check engine light went out so I am quite confident that it was resolved by putting the new gas gap on. My pt cruiser has been running very well with no problems since I had the air conditioning fixed. It is however about due for an oil change so I will have to see if I can find a good mechanic in the tallmadge Ohio area soon. The comet has been sitting still in storage for about a month now due to the weather and the fact that I do not live 2 minutes from the storage unit. We are hoping to find an apartment or townhouse with a garage when our lease is up in July so that we can eliminate the storage costs as well as having the car close so that I can work on it more in the evenings. In the meantime I am trying to save some money for awhile and hope to have some body work and paint done to the comet within the next year or so.
In entertainment we are still enjoying the 37″ Vizio widescreen that I picked up at wal-mart a few months ago. I recently acquired a PS3 system by trading my older laptop with a friend so we are now able to watch blue ray movies as well as playing games like Grand Theft auto 4 which I have been playing a lot in the evening while I wait for Richelle to come home. A few days ago I also bought a slightly used version of Rock band I off of a user on ebay. I am excited because it will be something that Richelle and I can play together to relax after a long stressful day.
